The Colby College Women’s Lacrosse team prides themselves on creating a “Division 1 environment in a Division III setting,” all while giving players access to some of the best educational resources in the northeast. Colby not only specializes in creating great athletes, they create great people.

The Problem

The program was in need of a way to convert recruits to their program in a more effective way than in years past. They needed an effective way to communicate why their program was a better choice than similar programs in their conference.

The Solution

We created a comprehensive video campaign centered around these recruiting efforts. We started by developing a long-form video highlighting every single attractive aspect of their program, which Colby coaches could use to send their recruits. This video allowed each recruit to get a better understanding of the program, and it allowed Colby to qualify the recruits who were actually interested. We also produced a series of short-form videos to attract players to take the next step in their recruiting journey, and learn more about the program. 

Feedback among the recruits so far has been outstanding. Colby has noticed an increase in campus visits from recruits since utilizing the video content. With commitment season upcoming, we’ll keep a close eye on how this large pool of recruits decides to move forward with the program.
