Situated on the edge of Frenchman Bay, the Bar Harbor Inn & Spa is a quintessential New England waterfront retreat, offering timeless hospitality, elevated amenities, and unparalleled access to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
The Problem
Despite being an iconic destination with a prime waterfront location, the Bar Harbor Inn’s digital presence didn’t reflect the experience guests actually had once they arrived. The website lacked any form of video, relying solely on static imagery that felt dated and failed to capture the atmosphere of the property. At first glance, it wasn’t immediately clear just how close the Inn was to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, nor did the visuals communicate the level of service, amenities, and refinement that set the property apart. As a result, prospective guests weren’t fully grasping the quality of the experience before booking.
We produced a cinematic website banner video designed to immediately immerse prospective guests in the Bar Harbor Inn experience. The video highlights the Inn’s waterfront setting, walkability to downtown Bar Harbor, proximity to Acadia National Park, and the elevated level of service guests can expect throughout their stay. In addition to video, we captured a curated library of polished, versatile imagery showcasing the property, amenities, and guest experience. This content was created with flexibility in mind, allowing the Inn to seamlessly refresh their website while also supporting ongoing marketing efforts across social media and email campaigns. Together, the new visuals deliver a strong first impression that accurately reflects the quality, location, and character of the Bar Harbor Inn.
