Mt. Desert, Maine | October 2020
We were hoping for a breathtaking sunrise on our first morning at Acadia National Park in Maine. Instead, we were greeted with dense fog as far as the eye could see (which is not that far when it's foggy). They say that good things come to those who wait, and sure enough, our patience paid off. The fog cleared slightly, revealing the South Bubble peak over Jordan Pond. What you don’t see is the peak of the North Bubble Mountain towering behind, which has been perfectly concealed by the fog.
